Who am I?
Hi everyone, I’m Bruce, and I have been a health nut for over the past 15 years. To start, I’m not some huge dietitian or nutritionist major, and I am not a big muscle head. I’m like many out their who love to workout, stay healthy, and improve their quality of life. I’ve had times where I was super fit, and other times where I struggled to stay in shape. I spent my whole life being the tallest in the class until my current height of 6’6″. Having a very athletic build, I found myself being a participant in organized sports my whole life. Through this experience, I have worked with over a dozen trainers and dietitians in my entire athletic career. With that said, I do not know everything there is to know about nutrition and fitness nor do I pretend to. However, I have been exposed to a plethora of physical and nutritional health and fitness programs, studies, and techniques.
The reason I created this site was to help people like yourself find a healthier you and improve on your quality of life by sharing some of my experiences and discoveries. I have found that their are many myths and false advice out their in the health and fitness world. For instance I in my early 30’s, 6’6″ tall, and at a weight of 250 lbs, however, according to the BMI calculator, I am obese?! Yet, I am in what many would consider awersome shape! The biggest problem I seem to notice with people trying to get healthy and in shape is they focus too much on weight and not on their health and being fit. I hope to help change that thought process.
My wife Kerri is a bit of a promoter in all things natural and organic as well. She’s not really into the whole fitness thing like me, but that’s okay, because I’m not really into the whole organic and natural stuff either. Sometimes I feel she can take it a little too far, but she also creates new and innovative experiences for me that I like to share with others. A lot of times I find quarrels and experiences between us brings laughter to our lives. One big thing I’ve discovered with some of the natural and organic remedies foods out their is that they can be hit or miss when it comes to how truly effective they are.
So whether it’s eating healthy, good hygiene, living a cleaner lifestyle, working out, or improving your internal and mental health, I have solutions and experiences for many of these things. Some are simply advice or research done by credible sources, and others are products and techniques I have used or discovered that are worth trying out and looking into.
